Add Location button enables you to create a new location (Inventory) to a specific site (Warehouse).

Steps:

  1. On the Service Workspace accordion, in the image1810.gifAdministration expander, click image1840.gifWarehouses.

  2. Open appropriate warehouse record to which you want to add the location.

  3. On the Site docked split container, in the Inventory node, select any location and right click. Click image1841.gifAdd Location.

OR Select any location. On the ribbon bar, in the Actions group, click image1841.gifAdd Location button.

  1. Inventory Location dialog box appears.

  2. Enter location name, select appropriate GL account and check all the options that apply to the location you are creating.

  3. Click Save and Close. The application automatically creates a default bin for the location.

  4. Click image1823.gifAdd Bin if  you want to create further bins. Inventory Bin dialog box appears.

  5. Enter bin name and briefly describe the bin in few words.

  6. Click Save and Close.
