Attachments are documents associated with the case that contain information that is not suitable for storing in the database such as, logs or memory dumps received from the customer or technical notes about a resolution for the problem.

Attachments tab enable you to view the list of all the related attachment files.

You can add a new attachment; open or delete an existing attachment .

Points to remember:
  1. The purpose of Attachments is to view various documents related to the product.

  2. The documents can be related to either product or service.

  3. The attachments can be previously released articles, installation procedure guides, user manuals or any other knowledge based.

  4. The documents can be either desktop based or web based.

  5. By default, certain general attachments are already attached, while some are added by administrator on request.
