You can enable modify rights to allow the user to modify
data or
disable so that the data is read-only for specific
security role, at tab level for any work item.
Steps:
Open any work item.
In the workspace, right click specific tab to which you want to restrict access for a specific security role.
Click Edit Access Control button.
In the Edit Access Control dialog box, beside specific security role, in the modify column,
To enable modify rights, click until symbol appears.
To disable modify rights, click until symbol appears.
Click Save and Close.
