Flatten Form

Flatten Form button enables you to create a "Read Only" version of a specific form. However, the original form with enabled controls will still exists in the Forms list.

When you flatten a form, you cannot update form data. Hence, Flatten Form and Form Properties remain unavailable in the ribbon group.

Steps:

Select the form that you want to make read-only.
On the ribbon bar, in the Forms group, click Flatten Form. The form flattens.

The Description of the Form is automatically updated as "Flattened_<Actual Description>"
