General tab displays pertinent information about a specific part like part number, model number, description, family, line etc.

Workflow of an Employee in GoServicePro system:

1. Create New Part

2. Activate/ Inactivate a Part

   1. Activate a Part

   In the General tab, from the Status drop down, select Inactive.

   2. Inactivate a Part

   In the General tab, from the Status drop down, select Active.

   You cannot use a Part that is either Inactive or Obsolete.

    

3. Add Alternate Part

4. Remove Alternate Part

5. Open/ Add or Delete an Attachment

6. Associate/ De-associate Catalogs

   To Associate Part Catalog:

   Steps:

   1. Open appropriate Part.

   2. On the Part docked split container, in the Details node, click Catalogs.

   3. In the workspace, select appropriate catalog from All Catalogs list and click to move the catalog to Associated Catalogs list.

   4. Add more if necessary.

   To de-associate Part Catalog:

   Steps:

   1. Open appropriate Part.

   2. On the Part docked split container, in the Details node, click Catalogs.

   3. In the workspace, select appropriate catalog from Associated Catalogs list and click to move the catalog All Catalogs to list.

   4. Remove more if necessary.

7. Associate/ De-associate Vendors

   To Associate Vendor:

   Steps:

   1. Open appropriate Part.

   2. On the Part docked split container, in the Details node, click Vendors.

   3. In the workspace, select appropriate catalog from All Vendors list and click to move the catalog to Associated Vendors list.

   4. Add more if necessary.

   To de-associate Vendor:

   Steps:

   1. Open appropriate Part.

   2. On the Part docked split container, in the Details node, click Vendors.

   3. In the workspace, select appropriate catalog from Associated Vendors list and click to move the catalog All Vendors to list.

   4. Remove more if necessary.
