Labor Price Books enable you to set up different rates for all your billing scenarios.
For each of your company's cost types, you can assign various rates – you can have one set of rates for labor and another for other types like travel. You can also vary rates by employee type, time periods, travel distances. Billing Advisor’s robust allocation tool streamlines the process defining your labor rates.
Price Books represent the charges for labor, time, expenses, and parts. When a case is entitled against a service offering that contains price books, the system will use the rates established on the price book in conjunction with the inclusions of the service offering to calculate case billing. You can establish multiple rate periods for labor and travel expenses as well as one time event charges. Price books should be included in service offerings.
