Raw data reports deliver data to reporting users in a tabular format and includes all of the data that makes up graph and cross-tab reports. The extended raw data report provides easy exporting to Excel for further data analysis. Powerful Date and Adhoc Row filtering ensure that the users have exactly the information they are interested in.

The way a Report Object works is that, the raw data is populated onto the grid from the database. Once the data comes into the report screen, all the reporting is local. All the modifications made to the report happen in the client, thus not affecting the data in the database.
