Skills

Skills tab enables you to associate an existing skill to a specific part or part family or part line.

Steps:

1. On On the Service Workspace accordion, in the Administration expander, click Settings.

2. Open appropriate Business Unit to which you want to add certification.

3. On the Settings docked split container, in the Dispatch Settings node, click Skills and Cert Master.

4. In the workspace, click Product Skills and Certifications tab.

5. In the Skills tab:

1. You can associate a skill to a specific Part.

   Steps:

   1. Click search button beside Add Part field. LookupPart dialog box appears.

   2. Select appropriate part to which you want to add skill.

   3. Click Select and Close.

   4. In the Skills tab, select the skill that you want to associate to the part.

   5. Click to associate the skill to the part. AddSkill dialog box appears.

   6. Check Required check box.

   7. Set appropriate value from Skill Level drop down.

   8. Click Save and Close.

   

    

2. You can associate a skill to a specific Part Family.

   Steps:

   1. Select the part family to which you want to add the skill.

   2. In the Skills tab, select the skill that you want to associate to the part family.

   3. Click to associate the skill to the part family. AddSkill dialog box appears.

   4. Check Required check box.

   5. Set appropriate value from Skill Level drop down.

   6. Click Save and Close.

    

3. You can associate a skill to a specific Part Line.

   Steps:

   1. Select the part line to which you want to add the skill.

   2. In the Skills tab, select the skill that you want to associate to the part line.

   3. Click to associate the skill to the part line. AddSkill dialog box appears.

   4. Check Required check box.

   5. Set appropriate value from Skill Level drop down.

   6. Click Save and Close.
