Once all the associated work orders, tasks, part orders, sub cases etc. are resolved, and billing process is done, the case is now ready to be closed.
Steps:
On the ribbon bar, in the Workflow
group, click Close.
Close Case dialog box appears.
In the dialog box, select the appropriate Resolution Code, Status, Close Date and enter appropriate information in Notes field.
Click Save and Close. Digital Signature dialog box appears.
In the dialog box, select the appropriate Role option, assigned to the user who is authorised to close the case.
Select Approve to approve the close action.
Reason Description and Electronic Signature Authorization are standard values for every case that you want to close.
Enter your User Name and Password.
Click Save and Close.
An information message box appears. Click OK.
Generally,
Author is the user who created the case
(usually Administrator), Reviewer is the
user who worked on the case and Approver
is the manager.
