In GoServicePro, an employee represents user of the application.  Employees can own and be assigned to Cases, Work Orders, Parts Orders and other tasks in the system.

Steps:

  1. On the Service Workspace accordion, in the image1810.gifAdministration expander, click image1812.gifEmployees.

  2. In the workspace, on the default tool bar, click image9.gifNew Icon button

image1829.gifGeneral Tab
  1. Select appropriate Workgroup from the drop down.

  2. Click image1826.gifCategory Lookup button and select appropriate category codes.

  3. Check Active check box to enable the user to stay active and access the application.

  4. If the user is a Field Engineer, check the Allow Impersonate check box to enable the user to denote the Work Orders.

  5. If the user is a supervisor, check the Acting Supervisor check box to enable the user to overview the works of all the employees under the created user.

  1. On the ribbon bar, in the Actions group, click image1827.gifSave.

  2. In the image1828.gifChange Password dialog box, enter new password and confirm password.

  3. Click Save and Close.

If you are creating a dispatchable resource then, follow the instructions below:
  1. From the image1829.gifGeneral tab, check Dispatchable check box to enable the user to receive all the Work Order assignments.

  1. If you are using logistics module and want to track field engineer inventory, select an appropriate inventory location from Truck Inventory Loc select box.

image1337.gifYou must have inventory locations already created prior to assigning Truck Inventory Locations to employees.

  1. Set appropriate Working Hours, Max Travel Radius, Overtime Group and Default Queue.
