The Gantt
view enables you to view work orders and appointments that are assigned
to field technicians over different time periods
The tool bar provides quick access to different date ranges such as 1 day, 3 days, 5 days, etc
Configurable color coding of objects allows users to quickly differentiate between high priority/low priority items
Right click menus provide quick access to common functions such as opening the work order, logging items on behalf of technicians, and re-ordering jobs for the day
Steps:
On the ribbon bar, in the Search
group, click search
button
Needs Assignment tab displays a list of all
the work orders that needs to be assigned
In the Gantt tab, you can view the list of all the
technicians from all the hierarchy levels of the organization
From the Needs Assignment tab, drag the appropriate work
order that you want to assign and drop it near the appropriate technician
in the
Gantt tab
Re-order
Jobs dialog box appears. Perform appropriate actions in
the dialog box
Click Save and Close
Work Order assignment is possible only after the present date and time, represented by the horizontal red line.
You can slide the mouse pointer over the date header to expand the dates and view the work assignment in more detail.
