Transfer Parts

Transfer Parts enable you to transfer parts from one location (inventory)  to another. The location to which you transfer might belong to the same site (warehouse) or a different site.

Steps:

1. On the Service Workspace accordion, in the Administration expander, click Warehouses.

2. Open appropriate warehouse record.

3. On the Site docked split container, in the Inventory node, click appropriate inventory sub-node from the inventory hierarchy.

4. View the data in Summary View or Detail View.

   Detail View refers to the details that are more specified. The workspace displays the available bins of the location, and the specifications of every part in the bins. The details also include serial numbers for the serialized parts.

   Summary View refers to the details that are more summarized. The workspace displays the available bins of the location, and the quantity of the parts of same kind in every bin.

5. On the ribbon bar, in the Actions group, click Transfer button. Transfer Parts dialog box appears.

6. Select the part that you want to transfer and search for appropriate location and set the status for the part.

7. Click Save and Close.
