Edit Preset enables you to save a preset to or delete an existing one from database.
In order to view a preset, you need its respective XML file. This XML file is first saved to local machine so that only the owner can view it. However, the locally saved XML file can be viewed by other privileged users, by saving it to database.
If you want to share your preset to another user, but do not want to save it to database, you can e-mail the locally saved XML file to the appropriate person.
For saving a preset to database, you use Edit Preset button.
Steps:
In the Service Reports expander, click the Report Object
under which you created the preset.
On the ribbon bar, in the Actions group, click Edit
Preset.
On the Preset dialog box, in the
tool bar, click Add New
Preset.
Enter Name and Description details for the preset.
In the File field, browse and select the created XML file for the preset.
Click Save and Close. You can see that the preset is added to its Report Object.
