Load Preset enables you to view the preset report from the locally saved XML file.
When you create a preset, the respective XML file is automatically created by the Reporting System of the application. You need this XML file in order to view the same preset (with updated content) next time. For this, you can save it to your local machine and load it to view whenever possible. However, you can make it available to other privileged users by saving it to database. When you save a preset to database, the preset not only gets added to its appropriate Report Object, but also gets added to Presets drop down list.
Also, you can make the preset available to specific user without saving it to database, by sending an e-mail of the locally saved XML file.
Steps:
In the Service Reports expander, click the Report Object
under which you created the preset.
On the ribbon bar, in the Actions group, click Load
Preset.
Browse for the XML file for which, you want to view the preset
report and click Open.
The
filters, settings, structure and layout of the report is same every
time the preset is loaded except that the report displays updated
information.
