Cross-Tab Options-Reports

One of the key features of any report is the ability to display summary or aggregate information.

Cross-Tab displays data in a row and column matrix, and is ideal for summarizing data in a compact and concise format. It displays summary or aggregate values such as sums, counts or averages. The cross tab groups these values by one set of data listed down the left side of the matrix and another set of data listed across the top of the matrix.

For instance, you can calculate the total sales of a specific product in each region (Sub Totals) and the total sales in all regions of your Business Unit (Grand Totals, sum of Sub Totals).

From the drop down, select None to just see the aggregate values in a row in the table, Sub Total to view the Sub Totals of a row and Grand Total to view the Grand Sub Totals of a row.

From the drop down, select None to just see the aggregate values in a column in the table, Sub Total to view the Sub Totals of a column and Grand Total to view the Grand Sub Totals of a column.

Show Zeroes check box

Check the check box to view the zeroes in a report and uncheck to hide the zeroes.

You can right click on any of the numeric value in the report to see the list of all the related reports. You can also click the hyperlinks in the report to navigate to the respective assignment item of the application. For more details, click  here.
