Dispatch Work Order using Right Click Menu

Dispatch Board offers the feature of Right-Click Menus through which, you can dispatch a work order and also perform a number of other operations.

Steps:

1. Open Dispatch Board and click Needs Assignment tab.

2. Identify and right-click the work order that you want to dispatch. Right-Click Menu appears.

3. On the menu, point to Search Resources and then, select the method through which you want to dispatch.

• Dispatch Advisor

• Manual Lookup

• Auto Assign

  • Select Auto Assign option to enable the application to dispatch the present work order to an optimal technician based on the required skills, certifications, defined scenarios etc.

  • Before you auto assign, make sure that the present work order is not assigned to any technician and Do Not Reassign check box is not checked (in the Assignment Information section of General tab).

  • If already assigned then, first unschedule and then auto assign.
