Sites are the locations where technicians visit to work on a Case or Work Order.
General tab provides basic information about the Site.

Edit
present Site to Inventory Location
Create/
Edit existing site to Internal/ Customer or Vendor
Steps:
On the docked split container, click Contacts.
On the ribbon bar, in the Contacts
group, click New
Contact.
In the workspace, enter appropriate details in all the fields in General tab and Location tab.
Name of the site
Category Code details of the site, that appears by default
Type of the site (customer, vendor or internal) and the hierarchy level of the organization that serves for the site
Business Hours at the site
Flat/Plot No, Name of the building
Road No, Street No, Name of the street
Name of the City and State
Name of the country and the Postal Code
Exact geocode details of the site
A geographic region within which the same standard time is used.
Support Information refers to the details of the organization in the hierarchy level that supports the services for the site.
Name of the support office that provides services for the present site
Parent Site for the present site
Name of the supporting organization
Role of the contact at the site
List of other sites to which the present contact is associated to
On the ribbon bar, in the Actions
group, click Save.
Steps:
On the docked split container, click Contacts.
On the ribbon bar, in the Contacts
group, click Link
To Contact.
From the Lookup Contact select box, identify and select appropriate Contact whom you want to link to the Site.
Click Save and Close.
Site ID
To uniquely identify the site, you can manually give a code that is either numerical value or alphabetical value or alphanumeric value. If you do not specify Site ID manually, the application automatically creates one.
Site Name*
Name given to the site during site creation
Reference ID
Reference ID of the site.
Cut-Over Date
Date from which the services for the site are effective
Primary Use*
Primary nature of work at site
Code
Specialization of work at the site
Phone
Contact phone number for the site.
Fax
Contact Fax details of the site.
Business Hours*
Business hours of the site during which the business is conducted
Holiday Group
List of holidays provided by the business organization at the site.
Company Website
Website address of the business organization that supports services for the site.
Category*
Category code for the site that enables you to identify if the created site is for customer, vendor or internal use
Status
To identify the status of the site - if it is active or inactive.
Owner
The name of the employee account from which the site is created.
Type
The type of the site can be either customer, vendor or internal site.
Customer or vendor sites can be set as child sites for any one of the available customer or vendor sites.
The parent site for internal sites depend on which hierarchy level of the Business Organization structure the created site belongs to.
Inventory Location
If Inventory check box is checked, it indicates that the site acts as a warehouse
Organization Level
The level of the created site from the Business Organization Hierarchy structure.
Company
Company that supports services for the site
Business Unit
Name of the Business Unit
Region
Region of the company that supports services for the site
District
District of the company that supports services for the site
Office
Office of the site
Support Office*
The level of organization in the hierarchy structure that is responsible for providing services to the site
Address
Address of the Support Office
Zone
Zone details of the Support Office. Zones represent sub-territories within internal sites. Zones are meant only for internal sites.
Company
For Internal Site: Name of the Organization that offers application for your business.
For Customer Site: Name of the Organization to which the Support Office belongs to.
Business Unit
The main Head Office of the Business Organization that is considered as the foremost parent site among all the levels in the Business Organization Hierarchy structure.
Region
Refers to the region of the supporting office.
District
Refers to the district of the supporting office.
